Mather Point on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon is an outstanding viewpoint, especially at sunset. This rainbow appeared briefly when a summer thunderstorm rolled through in late afternoon. The clouds parted to allow shafts of sunlight to strike the buttes near the North Rim. This print is made from a 4x5 film transparency.
